What is a good hotel budget for Paris ?

I am travelling to Paris with a friend for 4 days In March. We don%26#39;t have to have something luxe, but we will pay for peace of mind and adequate space. What is a good budget for us?

hey im in dallas too woohoo!!!!

hmm i dunno if budget should be set that way

if you can afford a 5 star hotel than that would be a good budget for you

if you are tight on money, then a two star hotel would be a godo budget for you

i guess if you have certain expectations for how nice you want the place to be this would eliminate the cheaper places, but i dunno how nice you want it to be?

There are two star hotels that are clean, nice looking, roomy enough for paris standards, etc

But if you give more details about what ur lookin for .. . location, room amenities, etc somebody here will have an answer for you

Hi neighbor!

Well I%26#39;d like something with modern conveniences, but still full of charm and tradition. I think the location needs to be central to all of the %26quot;tourist things%26quot; eiffel, louvre, arc etc. We need space too. I understand the rooms are smaller than US hotel rooms, but I can%26#39;t do a broom closet.

ok getting closer... but honestly you need to set the budget for people to suggest things to you i think.

you should have somewhat of an idea of what you expect or what you want to pay on your trip.

theres just such a wide range of prices .... 100 euro/night to like 900 euro/night

A place to start. Hotel La Lavoisier (www.hotellavoisier.com) in the 8th. A very stylish, boutique hotel that has a wonderful location. That will run $160-$250 depending on day of week. (weekends are cheaper).

Also check Patricia Well%26#39;s web site www.patricawells.com, pull down the Paris menu and click on places to stay. You will find hotels in the 6th that range in price from $130-$400. These are the hotels she recommends to people who take her cooking courses, which are quite expensive, so you can be sure they are reliable and fairly priced.

Get going now as quality hotels book quickly even in March.

Every hotel room no matter where you go will be smaller than a US hotel room lol, well maybe not Canada. Ibis are clean and are very reasonable and spaced out all over Paris, we found a big Ibis prob 15 min walk from Eiffel but some other Ibis are closer for the Arc etc, end of the day just get your walking socks on (literally) you can walk to eiffel, arc, notre ,louvre in a day no probs. just don%26#39;t forget the socks!!

You should have no problem getting a hotelroom in the heart of town for about $70 (2 beds).

Sorry, I maent 70euro, that%26#39;s $90.
