When to go

When is the best time of the year to go to Paris? Springtime?

I%26#39;ve been to Paris in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Summer is very nice, sometimes too hot, but also very crowded, particularly in August, so that means longer lines for all the museums, Eiffel Tower, etc. We went last Spring during Easter and were really glad we packed our winter coats, hats, gloves, and scarves! It only rained one day, and there was one sunny day when we actually took our coats off, but for the most part, and particularly in the evening/night, it was quite chilly (still lots of fun and certainly far less crowded, but quite chilly). Perhaps May would be better. My girlfriends and I went in early to mid-October and the weather was fantastic. Just needed light coats at night, sweaters during the day, only rained once, flowers still out in the parks, not very crowded...just perfect. I would think September-October would be best.

Yes, if you have a choice Sept-Oct is the best time to go. All the seasons have their good points and May can be beautiful though I always find more rain in the spring. Good luck!
