I%26#39;ll be in Paris for one week in October. Can anyone tell me the best way to get cheap tickets for any soccer matches and where I find the schedule for soccer in Paris?

The local team is Paris St Germain.
You%26#39;ll find information on their site www.psg.fr
The games for October won%26#39;t be available until at least July.
You can book tickets on www.psg.fr and www.ticketnet.fr which both should have English interfaces.
But if you use the fnac.fr site (only in French I think) you can book a ticket and pick it up at any one of their stores in Paris while the other sites mentioned would have to sned the tickets out to you by mail.

If you are a soccer fan and there is a game in town when you visit, I highly recommend the experience. I dragged my wife to a game on our first visit to the city and even she enjoyed it. While I am a soccer addict, neither of us knew much of anything about PSG. Indeed we were suprised when they announced Ronoldinio as their new signing before the game. Too bad we couldn%26#39;t see him play. Anyway, the fans were ravinous, especially at the end lines. Fireworks - banners - chanting. It was fabulous. Security was very intense. I still don%26#39;t know why we had to dispose of the screw tops from our plastic water bottles. As for obtaining tickets - our concierges took care of us - and we stayed in a common, no frills, run of the mill hotel. You%26#39;ve got so much advance notice, you could probably by them directly from the club on line.
