Day trip from Paris to Lake Como, Italy?

Or is that just too much for 1 day? I would spend 1 night in Lake Como, Italy and then head back to Paris.

Unless you have a burning desire to see Lake Como, it%26#39;s entirely too much for an overnight--even using various night trains.

How are you travelling? This seems much too far for a day trip, I believe you%26#39;d have to take a train to Milan, and then another to the lake. You could fly from Beauvais to Bergamo for less than the train (probably) but still this is a huge undertaking for 1 day at the lake.
