Me and my girlfriend will be staying by the jardin du luxembourg off of bd saint michel. One night we%26#39;d like to go out to a bar or club or wherever we could go to chill and have a few drinks.
Being 20 yrs old .. I haven%26#39;t even been to bars here in the US, and I have no idea what jazz clubs are like in paris... so basically what im looking for is not somewhere crazy and loud with drunkards everywhere... but somewhere cool and interesting where we can have a few drinks and sit down and have a nice time. dancing or no dancing, doesnt matter.
Location not too far from where we are staying would be nice too. Also, nothing too expensive... we%26#39;re under a lowkey budget.
Any suggestions?
Guidebook suggests... le caveau des oubliettes (5th), le reflet(5th), le 10 bar (6th). Anyone been to any of these?

In your immediate neighborhood, across from the Jardin de Luxembourg on the Blvd. Saint Michel, is PETIT JOURNAL SAINT MICHEL--71 Blvd. Saint Michel, 75005, Metro: -- http://perso.wanadoo.fr/claude.philips/
Another good jazz club a pleasant stroll down the Blvd. Saint Germain(just past Cafe Deux Magots) just a few doors in from Cafe Flore is BILBOQUET--13 rue Saint Benoit, 75006, Metro: Saint Germain des Pres
In any event, nothing goes on at most clubs before 10 PM and most things usually don%26#39;t even begin to get goin%26#39; until at least 11 PM.

The organizer for the Montrieux (sp?) Jazz Festival recommends this club, further from your hotel, but still close enough for a couple of 20 year olds to walk
