We were married in 1956 and spent our honeymoon in Talloires. We are toying with the idea of returning in 2006. In 1956 we flew from Manchester to Geneva via Zurich (Swissair) and then travelled by local bus to Annecy and another bus to Talloires.
50 years on should have seen some easier way. Can you suggest a better route?

If you%26#39;re close to Manchester - flying to Geneva is your best bet now. Nothing beats flying to Geneva. The only better option for you would be to rent a car at the Geneva airport and drive to Talloires directly. There are no public transportation routes (i.e. direct trains) to Talloires. There are buses of course.
