la maison du chocolat - locations

on the website for la maison du chocolate i notice multiple locations. i was wondering if there was a %26quot;main%26quot; location that was somehow better than the others , or if they are all pretty much the same.

The MAISON du CHOCOLATE location at 225 rue Faubourg-Saint Honore in the 8 eme is the %26#39;..mother-ship..%26#39; but all of their other locations are quite wonderful as well. But perhaps it would be better if you decided this for yourself by visiting each one individually and report back. Yes I know it%26#39;s a dirty job...but someone should do it. Why not you?

There are some locations that serve beverages, while others are simply to go. The location at Franois 1ere (just off the Champs Elysees) seems to attract a crowd that arrives in flashy sports cars.

But it is not the best chocolate in Paris... just the most famous. Linxe%26#39;s stuff has gotten too industrial (even the NYTimes agrees) and for the real artisanal stuff you should try Jean Charles Rochoux on the rue d%26#39;Assas and his %26quot;master%26quot; Michel Chaudun on the rue de l%26#39;Universite. It is quite educational to try them all.

And for the best chocolate anything on the planet you could finish off the day with a dome Pleintude cake from Pierre Herme rue Bonaparte.
