what's to eat

Just what do the Parisians eat. I have no idea what kind of food I am in for? Breakfast and Dinner

Breakfast: Coffee and a croissant, or a tartine (1/4 a baguette w/butter) is a typical Parisian breakfast.





Dinner: In restaurants you will often find a prixe fix menu which will include an entree (starter), plat (main dish), and dessert. As far as what will be on those menus, I suggest looking at www.reservethebest.com to check out some of their sample menus, as french cuisine is a profoundly vast topic. I can tell you that they are primarily carnivores, and enjoy meat in all its forms. Lambs with lentils, stews (beef or chicken, often prepared with wine), steak and fries are just a few of the more traditional recipes that some to mind.
