Transportation to hotel from train station

A group of 4 of us will be arriving in Paris on Thurs, 3/24 via the Chunnel from London (Eurostar). Our hotel is the Opera Cadet on Rue Cadet. Bearing in mind that we will all have one large piece of luggage and one small carry-on, what would be the best means of transportation from the train station to the hotel? I would assume that due to luggage issues, two cabs would be needed? Is there a shuttle van alternative that might be better to keep us all together? Also, we didn%26#39;t realize until after we made plans that we will be there on Good Friday, as well as Easter Sunday and Monday. Are most museums and other tourist attractions closed on these days? What about restaurants closures as well? Thanks for your help.

The quickest, easiest and most ecomomis way of getting from Gare du Nord to your hotel will simply be to step outside the station doors and take a taxi (taxis will take 4 passengers) The worst that will happen is that if your party and its luggage is too much for a standard sedan, you might have to wait a few minutes for a mini-van type taxi (if there isn%26#39;t one queued up already). In addition to the metered fare, there will be a 2,60 Euro surcharge for the fourth passenger and ,90 Euro for each piece of luggage that goes into the trunk or back of the van. There is also a ,70 Euro surcharge for pick-up at a SNCF train station. These surcharges are NOT %26#39;tourist rip-offs%26#39; but a part of the long establish, official Paris taxi-fare structure) The fare (including surcharges) sould be lessthan 10 Euro.

There really is no convenient Metro connection between Gare du Nord and CADET (#7 ligne) and the walk is probably just beyond %26#39;comfortable%26#39; for a party of four rolling bags behind them.

Thanks so much for the great information, KDKSail. Sounds like it will be pretty simple.
