Try Etap for simple cheap accommodation in Place Estienne d%26#39;Orves - centre of town. They will have a website.
Pierre et Vacances is slightly out of the town centre but good for self cater.

We always try and find an IBIS hotel when in France or Spain, Marseille has one a few minutes walk from the beach that is very reasonable and near the underground, I think they have a couple others as well

Kyriad has an hotel close the Old POrt and Mercure has one overlooking the harbor area. Very nice.
