How much to park your car??

We will be staying at Mercure la Defense, which I have heard that is quite a bit far from downtown, we will like to rent a car

and after spending 5 days in Paris ,we%26#39;ll drive ( if it is not snowing) to Prague.

Can someone tell me how much it is to park your car in Paris?

Please, please, please, please, please, please don%26#39;t get a car to drive from the Mercure la Defense to Paris. It%26#39;ll take you about 10 minutes on public transport which runs about 20 hours per day.

Paris is very anti-car and you%26#39;ll find that the 10 minute journey will take a LOT longer. At rush hour there won%26#39;t be any point. even if you get into town then parking is expensive and a nightmare by the street.

i drive in paris because i know paris, but it%26#39;s really not simple to drive for a tourist, it%26#39;s not like ny where it%26#39;s easy. take the metro and rent your car when you go to prague only, first it will take you hours to find a location, especially if you dotn have internet to make an itinerary, and it will cost you a lot, lots of parking are like 15 euros for 4 hours, some are 2 euros for the first hour (even if you stay 10 min you%26#39;ll pay an hour).
