I often recommend the Hotel Lindbergh. Great location, friendly staff and reasonable rates. The have some large quad rooms and if you are traveling with a young child, they may be able to add a cot. If they are older kids, the hotel is quite small and it would be safe to take two rooms and have some of the kids next door. www.hotellindbergh.com

For large families it is often preferable and cheaper to have an apartment. The Citadines apart%26#39;hotels may be your best bet, our you can look online for short term apartment rentals. Many posters on this site like the apartments on the rue du Dragon. (google rue du dragon and it will get you to the right site).

Try to look at the Hotel Suede Saint Germain, a 3 star hotel in the area between Montparnasse and Saint Germain...It is a nice decorated hotel that have beautiful suite for 4 people. Maybe if you asked them, they can add a bed ...

I love the Hotel St. Beuve; they offer connected rooms so parents can have privacy and 2 full baths. Lovely personal hotel, great breakfasts which are a plus when traveling with children, and a great location. Another option, the St. Gregoire--I haven%26#39;t yet stayed there but recall that they also offer connected rooms. Both are reasonably priced for the level of accomodation. Paris is divine with children! family traveler in Denver, Colorado

Hi Adelaide!

We%26#39;re going in February with our 2 kids and have rented a flat. The rate was MUCH cheaper than a hotel, and we have lots of room and a kitchen, which will cut down on the cost even more. We rented off of www.yellowstay.com but also found good results at www.vrbo.com and www.parispiedaterre.com We are renting a 1 bedroom in the 7th Arr. near the Eiffel Tower, Seine, and the Rue Cler, which I think will be great with kids. For our 2 kids we were able to do a 1 bedroom and the kids are on the pull out sofa in the living room. If I had 3, I%26#39;d probably stick one on the floor in a sleeping bag and still try for a 1 bedroom because 2 bedrooms tend to be more pricey.

Let me know if you need more help or info!

We try to rent a house or an apartment where ever we travel. We find it much more convenient to have cooking facility available if we want it. Also laundry in the apartment is a BIG plus with kids--seems they manage to get dirty everytime we go out. We can pack lighter, knowing we can just wash what we brought. We also like the comfort level of having a living room where we can congregate as a family, rather than just sitting on a hotel bed.

We also find it more reasonable than renting two or three hotel rooms. This trip we have three adults and two children, so we are renting a two bedroom/ two bath apartment with a fold out couch, living room, dining room, and kitchen. Our last trip we had 5 adults and 2 kids, so getting four rooms at a hotel was just too much expense and we still wouldn%26#39;t have had a nice place to gather and chat in the evenings and plan our days in the morning. We saved a good amount of money by eating all breakfasts at the house and packing a few lunches for outings. It made going out for supper a really nice experience, as we felt comfortable spending a bit more on our meal.

Hi

We are a family with 3 children and we have booked a room at the Citadines les Halles, a flat with an extra bed. Wi think it%26#39;s great to be able to eat somethin %26quot;at home%26quot;, if the children are tired. The location seems to be splendid, near the Metro with access to most of Paris.
