I am trying to found out why this metro station is called Maubert Mutualite.Who was Maubert? and Why mutualite?

The station is at place Maubert, which dates back to 1202 and was named after Jean Aubert, the second abbey of St Genevieve.

The Mutualite is a historic art deco building that was built in 1931 and stands just outside the metro.

Bonjour,

Mutualit is a social movement for health prevention. The building is the HQ of the parisian mutualit (web : http://www.fmp.fr/). It is used for meetings (political parties, trade Union,...)

My veterinarian is on that street. Does that count as health prevention?
