Taxi from RER stop Luxembourg?

We are staying at the Au Royal-Cardinal located at 1 Rue des Ecoles. We%26#39;ll be taking the RER B train to the Luxembourg stop and I thought it would be close enough to walk to our hotel but I think it may be too far. Would it be difficult to grab a taxi from the station?

Why would you be taking the RER B-3 to Luxembourg? Your besst bet is to get off at SAINT MICHEL/NOTRE DAME The walk from either Saint Michel/Notre Dame or Luxembourg are about equidistant. The advantages of getting off at SAINT MICHEL/NOTRE DAME is that if you choose, you could make your way through the Saint Michel station and take the #10 Metro ligne (in the direction of Gare Austerlitz) to Cardinal Lemoine and then walk the block north along rue de Cardinal Lemoine to rue des Ecoles (the Au Royal Cardinal is locted right on the corner) or come up onto the street and take a taxi from the regular taxi stand there to your hotel (probably easier to find a taxi at Saint Michel than Luxembourg). You%26#39;ve more and better options/alternative from Saint Michel.
