Honeymoon in the French Riveria

Hi,

Looking to honeymoon in the French Rivieria in September.

What is the best place to stay- Nice, Cannes, Monoco?

Looking for relaxation on the beach, with some culture and maybe some night life. What area/city would be the best place to stay?

We know Bandol well, as we have a timeshare overlooking Renecros beach. We have used it every June for about 15 years. It is very French and not at all like the most %26quot;international%26quot; style towns you mention. If you do not speak French, you may have difficulties in Bandol as - without many American or British visitors - there is no great incentive to learn English. There are a small number of goof restaurants. September will see the end of the visitor season; if you go in October (as we did on our very first exploratory visit), it will have a distinctly out-of-season feel

If I were you, I will spend a few days in Nice to see the east part : Monaco, Eze, Villefranche and the west part Antibes, St Paul de Vence, Cannes and Nice itself. Juan-les-pins is a good place for night life and beach as well.

I won%26#39;t stay in Monaco which is an %26quot;artificial%26quot; town with very high buildings.

If you like Contemporan Art, try to spend at least one night in the Golden room of the Windsor Hotel in Nice which has been designed by Claudio Parmigiani. You can see it on the web site www.hotelwindsornice.com.

Have a good honey moon !
