Travel to St Tropez from France

Seeking the best way to travel from Paris to St Tropez in April. Thank you..

TGV train. Look on www.raileurope.com for prices and reservation (You MUST reserve in advance, not more than 60 days in advance though)

You could consider hiring a car and stop overnight in Bourg En Bresse. Then head down to Frejus the next day through Gap to experience the French Alps. From Frejus you could reach St Tropez in non-holiday season just under 40mins. In Frejus you might want to first drop by at the local supermarket called the Giant to stock up some bottles of water and food at low-cost.

Buy the new C6 Corvette in the US, have it shipped for $1000 to Havre in northern France (takes two weeks). Take the train up from Paris (2 hours), pick it up and enjoy its 300 kph top speed (186 mile per hour - as fast as the TGV but a hell of a lot more fun) on your run down to St Tropez. In St Tropez stay at the Hotel Residence de la Pinede where they will park your steed right in front for everyone to admire. After that, you wont want to leave either the Vette or St Tropez. Trust me, they are an intoxicating combination.

How about that for a plan?
