carte d'orange

I have been reading about the carte d%26#39;orange and realize it might be perfect for my family to use. We will be arriving in Paris Thur. March 17 and renting a car at CDG to drive to Normandy for 3 days. We will then be back in Paris in an apartment Sunday March 20 until Tues. March 29. My question is can you buy the carte d%26#39;orange at CDG? If not where and when can we buy it so we will have it available when we get to Paris?

Carte d%26#39;orange tickets are valid from Monday to Sunday so you can buy it at any metro station upon your arrival, as it won%26#39;t be available any earlier and is only valid beginning Monday.

Bring photo booth photos with you from home.

As for %26quot;perfect for the family%26quot; it is definitely easier if each member just has one ticket for the entire week, ut you will still need to buy individual tickets for the few days that don%26#39;t fall within the mon-sun week. For those days you can purchase tarif reduit (discount tickets) for the kids.

Again, if you don%26#39;t intend on leaving Paris during your visit there there%26#39;s no point in spending so much money on %26quot;5 zone%26quot; carte orange cards when the city is contained within zones 1 %26amp; 2.

i thought you can buy a 1 week carte d%26#39;orange for 15 euros.

The price of a weekly--valid from FIRST TRAIN Monday AM until LAST TRAIN, Sunday PM--CARTE ORANGE is 15,40 Euro. You may purcase these passes fro the flollowing week from Friday---but they will not be valid until Monday (and if you use the Metro ticket before Monday, it will be invalidated with no refunds no replacement). Given you itinerary, the Carte Orange will be your best and most convenient deal,

The CO is the way to go I guess. :)

Are you dropping the car back to the airport after Normandy? If you are then remember that you%26#39;ll need to get the CO (for transport in Paris AND get a ticket to take you to Paris).

My husband will drop us off at our apartment in Paris then probably take the RER back into Paris.
