What is the best area to stay in and what is a nice three star or two star clean and safe place to stay in Paris that is by all the sights, kind of in the middle of all the sights. Thanks

stay in the centre, so that you can walk to the main attractions (they are very concentrated in Paris).2 possibilities : around the Louvre on the right bank (1st district) or Quartier Latin / Saint Germain on the left bank (5th and 6th district).
