From CDG to Hotel

Would like to take air france bus but closest stop is Arc de Triomphe, hotel near Auber Madeleine stops. Any ideas? RER-B from CDG then? But change to RER-A to get off at Auber? Is that so? Can I buy metro pass online, if so, what zone 1 %26amp; 2 or other? Would like to see all major sites, etc.

The walk from Opera, where I usually get the bus, to Auber/Madeleine is about 5 minutes.

Something more direct is RER B and change onto the A as you%26#39;ve already mentioned. You just buy a ticket for Paris at the airport where you get the train. The ticket is about 7.50 euro one-way and you don%26#39;t have to worry about zones.

All the other ticket options for travelling around Paris really depend on what day you fly in and how long you intend to stay.

The %26quot;Roissybus%26quot; drops off at Place de l%26#39;Opera.

45 minute ride, 8.20Euro.

I%26#39;ll be arriving on a Sunday morning and only there for 4 full days. So if I take bus from CDG that stops at Opera then how far is walk to hotel? How far walk is Arc de Triomphe? Where can I find walking distance info. I%26#39;m staying at 23 Rue Godot de Mauroy, is the Louvre, Opera, Notre Dam, Tullerie Gardens all in walking distance, we like to walk.

If, as has been suggested, you take the ROISSYBUS to it%26#39;s Paris terminus on rue Scribe, The walk should be no more than 5-6 blocks west. The terminus for the ROISSYBUS is out in front of the main American Express office, at the intersection of rue Scribe and rue Auber. The Hotel Montreal will be situated half-way along rue Godot et Mauroy, between rue de Seze and rue des Mathurins.

so then I take to Rossy bus 2 (green) to that stop and walk from there, is it that easy? Is the bus labeled?. Is there a ticket booth to purchase in CDG? Or should I use ATM, and do I need exact change for bus?

You get the well marked ROISSYBUS--(these will be the ones with ROISSYBUS in huge letters written on both sides) from outside of yur CDG Arrival terminal-- http://www.adp.fr/webadp/a_cont01_an.nsf/$$Affich@ReadForm%26amp;cle=X500520521103BDCBD07A4923FF4125687E006DB8F3.html

You pay your fare when you board the bus in Euros. There is no ticket booth. If you have not brought a supply of Euros with you, then you will have to either use a CDG ATM or exchange dollars at a CDG Bureau de Change. It%26#39;s that easy.

You don%26#39;t need exact change, but I would suggest arriving with 50-100eurs prior to your arrival. Just in case there are any atm issues.
