Romantic Hotel in Paris

I will be in Paris in June to celebrate an anniversary. It will be my first time in Paris. Can anyone suggest a romantic hotel in the middle of everything? My price range is about $200 per night. Thanks!

Ever thought of a romantic apartment instead?

These parisperfect apartments are outstanding! They are so romantic--check them out--the views just don%26#39;t get any better than this. You may just end up staying in bed all day and all night! Didn%26#39;t have the size we needed at the time we needed, but lady was very nice to deal with on our inquiries.

We are renting through in a few weeks:

Another very nice lady runs this site, we hope to have a much more parisian experience by renting an apartment.

Best wishes on your trip!

I can second Cybertravellers expectations of parisperfect, I stayed with my wife, two year old and inlaws in one of the thier larger apartments September. The apts. are wonderful. You can rely on the web site for a good representation of the units. The main benefit to be had however, is that the owners of Parisperfect either own or long term lease all of the apartments. So you are not dealing with a service, you are dealing direct with the landlord.

However, if it is a small stylish romantic hotel you are after, I would suggest Hotel Le Lavoisier (www.hotellavoisier.com). Rack rates are slightly more than $200 but they have frequent seasonal specials as well as weekend rates. Before the two year old, my wife and I who are frequent travellers to Europe stayed here 6 or seven times. It feels like home and is ideally located in the 8th near the best shopping and easily accessible to all of the major monuments. Most on foot. We like the hotel and the staff (all young in thier thirties) so much we almost felt guilt staying in an apartment while in Paris. Check the reviews on this site and I think you will be impressed.

It seems that I can%26#39;t stay at the perfect paris apts because they only book by the week! Are there any suggestions for hotels or apartments with an eiffel tower view? (3 nights) Thanks

Look in previous posts for hotel with Eiffel Tower view (go back up to 2 weeks)

I visited Paris for the first time in April 2003. The first three nights, I stayed in a hotel that was near the Eiffel Tower. It was okay. It was busy with businesses and late at night I could still voices from people who were eating at restaurants late at night. It was romantic to be walking around that area at night and look up and see the Eiffel Tower. But I would have to say that something was missing.

The last two nights that I was in Paris, I stayed at the Hotel de Banville. White bedspreads in Paris!!!!!! The hotel is not exactly in the middle of everything, but it is very easy to take a taxi or take the Metro to wherever you want to go. The hotel does have a room called the Chambre d%26#39;Amelie that has view of the city. It is a superior room.

If I were to go back to Paris, I would stay at the Hotel de Banville or at a hotel like the Hotel Britannique. It is very easy to take a taxi or the Metro to the Eiffel Tower or even to different areas around the city. It is really romantic to walk around the Eiffel Tower at night. But it is so nice to come back to a quality hotel that has a good bed with soft pillows. And even a hotel that has put some detail into the interior decoration of their rooms. It is so Paris!!!

Sincerely,

Diana

Have a look at the Hotel Suede Saint Germain, a nice 3 star hotel in the 7th disctrict. The decoration is particularly romantic, in a typical French and Parisian style....The area is quite to sleep because it is in a little street but you are not far away from Montparnasse area and from Saint germain...a great location!

A friend of mine stayed there once and was really happy of his stay in this hotel!

You can see some pictures on the website: http://www.suede-saint-germain.com

Have a good trip!
