Outdoor Markets

I%26#39;m looking for information regarding outdoor markets. I%26#39;ll arrive in Paris on Saturday until Tuesday. I will leave on Wed for Caen and then to Bayeax on Wed night and Thurs. On Friday, I%26#39;ll be at Mont St. Michel. I would appreciate any location, times and descriptions of various markets. I would like to visit at least one while in France and knowing the schedule or at least a web site to locate the information will help in planning an itinerary.

You might have to scroll back several pages in the archives, but there is quite a bit of information that has already been posted.

Sunday in Paris you will find a bustling market on the bould Richard Lenoir at the Bastille. There is also a much quainter, smaller market at teh Place Monge, which you could follow with a stroll down the medieval rue Mouffetard market street. There is the Michel Brusa bakery, the Quatrehommes cheese monger and a cafe on the street, and on Sundays you can end the visit with some traditional singing/dancing at the foot of the market.

If you%26#39;d like to visit some markets outside of the city it is best to look up the individual tourist offices of the places that you plan to visit, or ask the hotels where you will be staying.
